I Hate All Indian Bowlers: Hasan Nawaz

Pakistan batter Hasan Nawaz has been embroiled in fresh controversy after saying he “hates all Indian bowlers” in a recent interview.

The remark came when Nawaz was asked to name a bowler he would like to score heavily against. Instead of naming one, he said playing against India gives him extra motivation and that he wants to score against every Indian bowler because he “hates all of them.”

The comment has quickly spread on social media and drawn mixed reactions.

Many fans have criticised the statement, saying it crosses the line and goes against the spirit of the game.

Some former players and observers have also pointed out that international cricketers are expected to show respect towards opponents, no matter how intense the rivalry is.

At the same time, a section of fans defended Nawaz, saying such comments reflect competitive intent rather than personal dislike.

Matches between the India and Pakistan national cricket teams are always high-pressure contests. Because of that, even small remarks tend to get amplified and closely scrutinised.

Nawaz, who has played a limited number of international matches so far, is seen as one of Pakistan’s upcoming batting talents. However, this controversy has shifted attention away from his on-field performances.

There has been no clarification from the player yet. Whether he chooses to explain or tone down his comment remains to be seen, but for now, the remark has added fresh heat to an already intense cricket rivalry.
