World War III Has Begun, Did You Notice?

World War III or WWIII or the Third World War, as you may call it, has begun and only its official declaration is left.

I sound extremely speculative here, but if one notices as to what is going on around the globe, one can certainly feel "strong vibes" of World War III.

Look at what's taking place at the South China Sea,  the Armenia-Azerbaijan's disputed border, Line of Actual Control  (LAC) or at the Senkaku Islands- don't they seem like the hotspots of the great war?

The United States of America (USA) and the People's Republic of China- two of the most powerful nations of the world- are at loggerheads and this is a major threat for the entire human community.

Not just recently, but these two superpowers have been involved in several scuffles in the past as well, though things "sorted out" somewhat "harmoniously".

The USA, over the past few weeks, has been flexing its muscle by sending warships to the disputed waters of the South China Sea and in response, China has also carried out the live drill- thereby creating a new low in the US-China relationship.

Not just with the US, but China has also been at loggerheads with India and the world witnessed the aggression at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in June this year.

In the scuffle, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred and an "undisclosed" number of Chinese soldiers also lost their lives.

Following the incident and a series of "mud-slinging" politics, the two nations are now been engaged in peace talks and it is hoped that a solution would be found soon.

As fingers were raised towards China for the COVID-19 pandemic, in a bit to divert the attention China engaged itself in a series of unwanted and undesired tensions with the bordering nations.

Like India, China also got into conflicts like situations with Japan over the Senkaku Islands- an already disputed territory between Japan and China and Japan and Taiwan.

Even though the tensions are old, however, the aggression peaked this time, taking the China-Japan relations to an extreme low.

I strongly feel is that China is going to be one of the major nations during this great war.

According to me, the Chinese aggression has witnessed a spike following the coming closer of the QUAD nations.

QUAD, which stands for Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QSD or QUAD), is an informal strategic forum between the United States, Japan, Australia and India.

The forum maintains semi-regular summits, information exchanges and military drills between member countries.

2020 has witnessed a rise in the activities among the QUAD nations, which I feel has cornered China and to take "revenge", the Red Dragon has been involving in these border activities.

The two neighbouring nations Azerbaijan and Armenia have been in a state of conflict since decades and it is widely known as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

This is an ethnic and territorial conflict between the two nations over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, inhabited mostly by ethnic Armenians and seven surrounding districts, inhabited mostly by Azerbaijanis until their expulsion during the Nagorno-Karabakh War, which is in reality controlled by the self-declared Republic of Artsakh, but is internationally recognized as a legal part of Azerbaijan.

The 2020 armed conflict is only the continuation of this decades' old conflict, however this time the support of third countries for both Armenia and Azerbaijan has been prominent.

What earlier were "small conflicts", flared up as bigger ones during the start of October and the situation continues to go from worse to worst.

These are only a few of the incidents taking place around the world which I feel, is pushing the country towards World War III.

I am speculative, yes I am, but my speculations are not baseless.

If the tensions along the borders and the decades' long conflicts are not managed soon, then no one can stop from the inevitable from taking place.

World War III has not begun yet but the signs are ominous and we all should take a note of it and take a stance.

If World War III starts, then there won't be one me or another you left behind either to write about the world or to read about it.
