The Postgraduate Level MOOC in Film Studies, hosted by Central University of Kerala (CUK) in collaboration with Ministry of Education (ME), the government of India, University Grants Commission (UGC), and Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) in the SWAYAM learning platform is now open for enrolment.
Teachers representing a few reputed institutes/universities/colleges in India—Film and Television Institute of India, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Panjab University, Christ University, Mangalore University, Calicut University, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kannur University and the Central University of Kerala—engage different academic sessions.
Interviews with a few well-known film directors, actors, technicians, critics, cinematographers, and music composers are also integrated into the course.
Anyone from anywhere in the globe can enrol in this course.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the final online examination in selected centres across India.
On successful completion, a certificate-cum-mark sheet will be issued by the Controller of Examinations, CUK.
Students can use the certificate-cum-mark sheet for credit transfer to any college/institute/university in India, as per the relevant UGC Guidelines.
