The Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has issued an important public notice informing consumers of a scheduled system shutdown lasting 36 hours due to ongoing cloud migration activities.
According to the announcement, the downtime will begin at 9:00 PM on February 28, 2026, and continue until 9:00 AM on March 2, 2026.
During this period, all public-facing and internal digital platforms will remain temporarily unavailable. These include key services such as ARMS, the Consumer Portal, EasyPay, MyBijulee, BijuleeBandhu, and other associated systems.
APDCL has advised prepaid consumers to maintain a sufficient account balance in advance to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply while the systems are offline.
The utility stated that no transactions or service requests can be processed during the shutdown window.
The company expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and urged consumers to plan accordingly until services are fully restored after the maintenance period.
APDCL officials said the cloud migration is part of efforts to upgrade infrastructure and improve the reliability and efficiency of digital services in the long term.
