Young Indians (Yi) the youth arm of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) launched a One-Stop Multi-City platform in around 15 cities nationally including Guwahati. This platform will help provide all verified information and requirement related to COVID-19.
Speaking on behalf of Yi Guwahati Chapter, Amrit Deorah, Co-Chair, said, “With the increase in numbers of COVID-19 cases the entire nation including Guwahati is facing a lot of issues in terms of availability in hospitals, medical supplies, oxygen, etc. leaving the public at large worried."
"With this platform, we believe that the citizens will get some relief since a lot of details can be gathered from one particular platform itself making it much easier for all," he added.

The web application has contact numbers of emergency services including medical oxygen supply, blood bank, psychologists and ambulance operators to help people in distress.
One can also gather information on food delivery at home for COVID-19 patients who are in home isolation, paid quarantine facilities, etc.
The mobile web application, launched by the Yi Guwahati Chapter involves various stakeholders including city-based private hospitals and government department to support the people who require COVID-19 related support.
The web application launched by the Covid task force of CII Yi has contact numbers of hospitals as well as the contact numbers of medical professionals offering consultation through social media platforms.
Hotels offering paid quarantine facilities and contact information of pharmacies offering drugs are available in the application.
Yi Guwahati Chapter has also undertaken various other activities of Covid relief by undertaking donation drives of medical supplies.
