The ticket distribution strategy, finely tuned to cater to immense demand while ensuring fair access, involves a phased approach:

  • August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
  • August 30: India matches at Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram
  • August 31: India matches at Chennai, Delhi, and Pune
  • September 1: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai
  • September 2: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
  • September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad
  • September 15: Semi-finals and Final

A recent official statement by the ICC outlined adjustments to the World Cup 2023 schedule, offering cricket fans even more to look forward to.

A notable alteration includes the highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan.

Originally slated for Sunday, October 15 in Ahmedabad, this thrilling encounter has been rescheduled a day earlier to Saturday, October 14, in the same venue.

Similar modifications have touched other matchups, with Pakistan's game against Sri Lanka now scheduled for Tuesday, October 10 instead of Thursday, October 12.

Australia's much-awaited showdown with South Africa in Lucknow has moved up to Thursday, October 12, from the previous date of Friday, October 13.

Likewise, New Zealand and Bangladesh's face-off, previously set as a day match for October 14 in Chennai, has now been moved to Friday, October 13, as a riveting day-night contest.

Throughout the tournament's initial phase, a minor change impacts the fixture between England and Bangladesh in Dharamsala.

The match's timing has been adjusted to a 10:30 AM (local time) start as opposed to the original day-night schedule.

As the league stage approaches its climax, three noteworthy changes have surfaced.

The double-header encounters initially scheduled for Sunday, November 12, have been moved forward by a day to Saturday, November 11. This exciting shift includes the Australia vs. Pakistan clash in Pune at 10:30 AM and the England vs. Pakistan showdown in Kolkata at 2:00 PM.

India's final league match against the Netherlands has also undergone a shift, now set for November 12 in Bengaluru as a captivating day-night affair.
