The Indian Navy has invited applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) postings for Executive Branch (Sports & Law) and Technical Branch (Naval Constructor) entries. ALSO READ | Permanently Commission Women In Navy: SC
The courses will begin from June 2021 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala and the last date of registration is February 18, 2021.
"The Short Service Commission is granted initially for 10 years extendable further for 04 years (02+02) subject to vacancy, service requirements, performance, willingness and medical eligibility of the officers," the Indian Navy said in a notification.
The candidates whose name will appears in the merit list will be shortlisted for the SSB interview, which will be held in Bhopal, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata.
The tentative dates for the interviews are expected to begin from March 21 onwards.
Indian Navy also mentioned "Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
Candidates are advised not to change their e-mail/mobile number till the selection process is over."
The SSB interview will be held throughout five days comprising of two stages of exams.
The first stage will consist of intelligence test, picture perception and group discussion tests. The second stage will consist of psychological test, group task tests and interview. ALSO READ | Interview With Smita Barman, Director Of 'Not About Tezimola'
The candidates who fail in the first stage will not be allowed to sit in the second stage exam, as stated in the job notice.
