Popular TV quizzing show Kaun Banega Crorepati or KBC 12 will premiere on Sony TV on September 28 at 9 pm.

Amitabh Bachchan will return as the host of the show for 11th time and as per reports, he has been working 10-12 hours every day for the show.

Even though the makers haven't shared the premiere date officially., however, a source close to the show said that the show will premiere on September 28, reported India Today.

With just 10 days left for KBC 12's premiere, the viewers are highly excited for the return of their favourite quizzing show.

The show will be aired from Monday to Friday at 9 am from September 28 at Sony TV and SonyLiv app.

Jio and Airtel subscribers, however, can watch KBC 12 live streaming for free on Jio TV and Airtel TV.

Things got a little delayed after Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and he was discharged from the hospital on August 2 after testing negative.

The actor was back on the sets of KBC 12 as soon as he recovered from the infection.

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the selection of contestants was completely virtual and from registrations to auditions, everything was online.

The popular quizzing show first aired in 2000 and with it began Amitabh Bachchan's stint with the small screen.

Shahrukh Khan also hosted the show in its third season when Amitabh Bachchan fell ill while filming for the second season.

From season 4 onwards, the 'Shahenshah' actor has been a regular of the show.

With KBC 12, the COVID-19 induced monotony is expected to be broken to a large extent.
