KK: An Emotion Lost Forever

Krishnkumar Kunnath aka KK, who passed away in Kolkata on May 31, 2022, was much more than just being one of the top-rated singers of Bollywood.

Fans not just loved him for his sweet voice, but also for his friendly personality.

His death has been mourned widely.

In a tweet, singer Shreya Ghoshal wrote, "I am unable to wrap my head around this news. Numb. #KK Why! This is too hard to accept! Heart is shattered into pieces.”

Singer Sonu Nigam took to Instagram and posted a reel of KK on his story and wrote “KK MERE BHAI NOT DONE.”

Other celebrities have shared their grief as well. Emraan Hashmi for whose films KK has given a lot of songs took to Twitter and wrote “A voice and talent like no other..They don't make them like him anymore. Working on the songs he sang was always that much more special. You will always be in our hearts KK and live eternally through your songs. RIP Legend KK #ripkk”

Other actors like Sonu Sood, Preity Zinta, and Sidhant Chaturvedi have shared their condolences for the singer on Instagram. PM Modi has also tweeted about the incident and shared his grief.

In his career, KK sang numerous jingles and songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam.

He won awards like the Singer of the Year Award in Malayalam and had been nominated for a lot of other awards as well.

"KK was not just a singer, but an emotion. We can still relate to most of his songs even today. Yaaron and Pal, are the theme songs of friendship and love. We will miss him forever," fans said.
