Hamad MAR Berlashker, a leading PR practitioner of northeast India and the Founder-CEO of Tangent, received prestigious India’s Regional PR Award 2021 (IRPRA), #40under40 under CSR Category.
Hamad along with four other PR Professionals from across the country bagged the award under Best CSR Campaign in the first edition of IRPRA.
“Being appreciated and recognised for one’s hard work feels great. PR as an industry is still at its nascent stage in smaller cities and towns in India and IRPRA’s initiative to recognise the regional PR professionals is commendable," said Hamad.
"This encourages and motivates us to work hard and push ourselves to perform better," he added.
40 PR Professionals were awarded from over 340 entries from across 24 states in India.

PR practitioners below the age of 40 were eligible for the awards and the winners were selected by a group of jury members who are stalwarts in the field of communication.
The event which was held virtually was witnessed by several PR Professionals from across the country. A brief seminar on the Future of Regional PR was also conducted before presenting the awards. IRPRA 2021 aims to honour PR professionals contributing significantly to the development of regional PR over the past few years.

This prestigious award ceremony has been instituted to celebrate excellence and recognise the most outstanding, inspiring and successful PR practitioners in our country, known for Regional communication.
IRPRA awards will be given under the categories of 40 Under 40, which means PR practitioners below the age of 40 are eligible to submit their applications for the award.
IRPRA will be distributed to the best regional network practitioner across the length and breadth of the country.
