Rajiv Joshi Wins Inventor Of The Year Award In USA

Rajiv Joshi, a renowned Indian-American inventor, has won the Inventor of the Year award in recognition of his work in advancing the electronic industry and improving artificial intelligence capabilities.

Rajiv Joshi is a master inventor and he has over 250 patented inventions in the USA.

He works at the IBM Thomson Watson Research Centre in New York.

The New York Intellectual Property Law Association presented Rajiv with the prestigious annual award earlier this month.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the award was presented in a virtual ceremony.

Rajiv Joshi, who is an alumnus of IIT Mumbai, has an MS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

He also has a PhD in mechanical/electrical engineering from Columbia University, New York.

Dr Joshi, in his acceptance speech, said that the utility and the usage of cloud, artificial intelligence and quantum computing are advancing with leaps and bounds.

"These, now, not only remain the buzzwords," Dr Joshi said.
