Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the fastest bowler in T20 cricket history to reach 600 wickets.
He accomplished this feat during Trent Rockets' match against Manchester Originals in The Hundred competition in the UK on July 29, 2024.
In his 20-ball spell, Rashid took two wickets for 24 runs, dismissing Wayne Madsen and Paul Walter.
Rashid Khan reached this milestone in his 438th inning, making him the quickest to do so.
He now has 600 wickets in 441 matches, with an average of 18.25 and best bowling figures of 6/17. He is the second-highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket history.
