Supporting KSCF mission of improving the lives of underprivileged children across India, Subway contributed Rs 1.8 million to the foundation.

This is the third time when Subway India has collaborated with Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF).

The  KSCF is working on a mission to eliminate hunger and work on the overall development of underprivileged children across India.

South AsiaSubway Country Director Ranjit Talwar handed over a cheque of Rs 1.8 million to KSCF Executive Director Dhawal Dalal in New Delhi on Thursday.

Earlier on November 1, 2019, Subway celebrated World Sandwich Day by running ‘Buy One Get One’ offer for guests across all restaurants in India.

On that day, for every dine-in order placed at Subway^® restaurants, the franchisee contributed a dedicated amount to the KSCF fund.

In India, Subway has partnered with KSCF, headed by the Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi.

“In our three-year collaboration with KSCF, we feel humbled the difference this is making to the underprivileged children,” said Ranjit Talwar.

“We want to thank our Guests, Sandwich Artists and Franchisees for making it a success,” he added.

Having opened its first restaurant in India in 2001, Subway is currently celebrating its 18^th year in the country.

The brand currently operates a chain of more than 660 restaurants across more than 100 Indian cities.

The brand leads the way in the quick-service restaurant industry in terms of its product line-up which is traditionally deemed fresh and more nutritious.
