The third edition of North-East Foodtech was inaugurated at the Maniram Trade Centre in Guwahati on May 13, 2022.

It is the landmark trade exhibition for the food and hospitality industry in Northeast India.

The 3rd North-East Foodtech is organised by Kolkata Foodtech, in collaboration with All Assam Restaurant Association and the Hotel & Restaurant Association, Assam.

The three-day event, ending on May 15, 2022, will showcase around 90 reputed companies from all over India.

Speaking about the event, Zakir Hossain, Chief Convener of North-East Foodtech, said, "About 90 reputed companies from all over India are displaying their products and services for three days in this vibrant platform."

"This exposition focuses on the state of Assam as a right destination for investment in the food processing and hospitality sector," he added.

"As we are all aware, COVID-19 has taught us how important food safety and hygiene are. Food packaging plays a pivotal role in the line of food hygiene," he further said.

"The 3rd North East Foodtech brings a bunch of innovative ideas in the field of food preparation & packaging," he concluded.

A wide range of Processed Food & Beverages, Food packaging Technology, Bakery & Confectionery Equipment, Hospitality industry products, Food display systems, Sweet & snacks making technology, Food additives & ingredients, Food flavours & decorative products, Food & Hospitality Industry IT solutions are being displayed in this huge platform.

Several thousand trade visitors from the entire Northeastern states and border countries are expected to visit this trade show for three days.

The organisers believe that 3rd North East Foodtech is an ideal platform for Bakers, Confectioners, hoteliers, restaurateurs, food processors, sweetmeat, banquet & other food businesses to increase their awareness of the innovations in the food & hospitality sector.
