CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore is organising a skill development programme in food processing in Guwahati.
The five-day skill development programme in food processing will be organised from February 15-19 at the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) VIP Road, Hengrabari.
The training programme is sponsored by the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Govt. of India.
The topic of the programme is Value Additions to Fruits, Vegetables, & Spices Processing.
The training program aims to benefit young entrepreneurs of Assam who are in the food processing sector.
This training programme will give technical knowledge to the food processors/exporters in the state and food processing will help in the creation of employment as well as better remuneration to the farmers.
Participants will be selected through an application and virtual interview and the training will be provided free of cost.
A course completion certificate will be given to the training participants.
