This open-label, randomized, controlled, multicentric clinical study was conducted on healthy volunteers across five different Ayurveda Institutions including Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune and two sites at Vadodara.
In one group, the subject consumed one teaspoonful of Dabur Chyawanprash two times a day for a period of 3 months.
A total of 696 subjects completed the study, out of which 351 subjects were in Chyawanprash group and 345 subjects were in the control group that did not take Chyawanprash.
