The medical condition of former President Pranab Mukherjee is stable, son Abhijit Mukherjee informed this in a tweet on Wednesday morning.

"With All Your good wishes & sincere efforts of the Doctors, my father is stable now!" tweeted Abhijit.
"His vital parameters continue to remain under control & manageable! Positive signs of his improvement are noticed!" he added.
"I request you all to pray for His speedy recovery! Folded hands," the tweet further added.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the Army’s Research and Referral (R&R) hospital in New Delhi on August 10 and underwent critical brain surgery to remove a clot in his brain.
He suffered a fall at his Rajaji Marg residence on August 9, which subsequently developed the clot.
Pranab Mukherjee had also tested positive for the COVID-19, which was informed by the former President himself in a tweet.
Sharing an emotional tweet on August 15, Pranab Mukherjee's daughter Sharmistha wrote about remembering last year’s Independence Day celebrations with her father.
"In his childhood, my dad & my uncle would hoist National Flag at our ancestral home in the village," she tweeted.
"Since then, he never missed a year to hoist tri-colour on Independence Day," the tweet added.
"Sharing some memories from last year's celebration at home. I’m sure he’ll do the same next year. Jai Hind," the tweet added.
