SIMFED, a government of Sikkim federation known for its organic project across India is actively supporting the Farmer Producers Company in the different Organic projects in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Sikkim in the Northeast.

In the first-ever Kisan Rail from Agartala on June 11, SIMFED had organised to send more than 2000 Kg of GI tagged Queen Pineapple to Delhi.

SIMFED has procured it from Chokhreng Organic Producers Company and sent it by Kisan Rail on June 11 afternoon.

Earlier, the federation had also assisted in marketing different products like Hari Narayan variety of special rice including fresh Pineapple from Tripura.

The federation had sent 500 Kg of fresh Queen Pineapple by Indigo flight to New Delhi last week as well.
