On November 26, 2021, the newly constructed Ao Morung was inaugurated as the guest of honour by the Nagaland Rural Development Minister, Metsubo Jamir, at Kisama's Heritage Village.

In his address to the gathering, the guest of honour expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the construction committee for their support and cooperation in completing the Morung in less than a week.

In his brief speech, advisor Dr Nicky Kire congratulated the Ao community on their hard work and the successful completion of the Morung in such a short period of time.

The Presidents of the Ao Senden, Kohima Ao Officers Telongjem (KAOT), Kohima Ao Telongjem (KAT), and Watsu Union Kohima also spoke at the event, which was also attended by Minister Tongpang Ozükum, Advisor Imnatiba, and the presidents of the 14 tribes of Nagaland.
