Dalmia Cement, keeping in mind the second wave of COVID-19, recently distributed over 3000 COVID Safety Kits among its esteemed channel partners across the Northeast.
Giving a brief about this initiative, Indrajit Chatterji, Executive Director, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited said, “We at Dalmia Cement are delighted to inform you that we have taken a few initiatives on our part to ensure the safety of our employees, dealers and other stakeholders during this pandemic."
"The objective of this initiative is to equip our partners with necessary elements to keep themselves and their teams at the counters and customers safe from the spread of the coronavirus," he added.
"Looking at the current trend of COVID-19 in the region, we urge the people to follow all safety precautions," he further said.
The outbreak of COVID-19 has necessitated the need for personal hygiene and protection and to promote safety habits amongst all.
Dalmia Cement’s Covid Safety Kits come in three sizes: Jumbo, Standard and Mini and each of them include a 3-layer cotton mask, a surgical mask and a Dalmia Sanjeevani hand sanitiser.
Altogether, 3000 kits were distributed for retail counters across all Northeastern states.
Apart from the Safety Kits, the company is also providing Counter Protection Shields and Covid Insurance to selected dealers.
The Safety kits were also distributed to masons, construction labours working at sites, contractors and technocrats.
With this, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd., aims to strengthen the collective fight against COVID-19.
Last year too, the company carried out several initiatives during the pandemic like distribution of the Safety Kits, ration distribution in villages of Assam and Meghalaya close to the plants, distribution of food packets to the homeless and needy and much more.
