The 'No Separate Administration in Manipur' campaign, initiated by the All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), is gaining momentum as public support for the campaign continues to grow.
On July 3, 2023, Monday, public meetings were held across the state to oppose the attempt to establish a 'separate administration' in Manipur, according to a release by AMUCO.
The public meetings took place at various locations, including Tharoijam Maning Leikai Community Hall, Salam Mamang Leikai Community Hall, Haorang Thongkhong, Maklang Keithel, Karong Community Hall, Sangaithel Community Hall, and Kachikhul Mayai Leikai Community Hall. These meetings were organized by local clubs and Meira Paibis (women's torchbearer organizations).

The meetings witnessed a large participation, with the presence of several distinguished members from various civil society organizations. Notable attendees included K Helen, the vice-president of AMUCO; Phulindro Konsham, the chairman of COHR (Committee on Human Rights); Ch Usharani, advisor of AMAWOVA (All Manipur Anti-Women's Violence Association); H Meghachandra, president of YOFFS (Youth Organization for Framework of Society); NRC (Naga Students' Federation) vice president; and H Herojit, among others.

During the meetings, several agendas were discussed, including intensifying relief and rehabilitation efforts for affected victims, halting militarization in Manipur, immediate withdrawal of the Suspension of Operation (SoO) truce with Kuki militants, and taking steps to eliminate them from Manipur, among other issues, as stated in the release.
