Anand was a movie co-written and directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee with dialogues by Gulzar. It starred Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Sumita Sanyal, Ramesh Deo, Seema Deo, Lalita Pawar, and Johnny Walker in pivotal roles.

The film was about an ailing Anand (Rajesh Khanna) and the bond he shares with Dr Bhasker Banerjee (Amitabh Bachchan).
